Visiting our home state any time soon? There are so many weekend getaway ideas we are dying to try out this summer. Here are just a few.
1. Burney Falls
Burney Falls in Northern California is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in our state. Visit with a special person and be amazed by nature.
2. Hike to the Hollywood Sign
Talk about iconic. It's a right of passage to any Southern California hiker! While you can't get super close, the view of Los Angeles makes it totally worth it!
3. Drive the Big Sur Coastline
Rugged mountains and amazing beaches will give you more than a few days worth of adventure.
4. Fern Canyon
This is a classic and easy hike you won't forget. Psst! A bit of Jurassic Park The Lost World was actually filmed here.
5. Stargaze at Glacier Point
Though there are a lot of magical places to check out California's night skies, Glacier point in Yosemite is a must.
