I have bought my husband wooden watches off of Amazon before. While they have looked great, none of them have lasted very long and the quality has been subpar. I splurged on this one for him for our anniversary, and when it came in and he immediately fell in love. The strap is very comfortable and feels sturdy. The face is beautiful with the dark wood and contrasting bright blue. There are small screws on the back to replace the battery if needed (which the other watches did not have). Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and so is he. And the engraving I added came out beautifully! Couldn't ask for a better product.
