Last week we had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at our local San Francisco Bay Area Boys Hope Girls Hope program to donate school supplies!
Boys Hope Girls Hope is a non-profit, coed, academic and life-learning after-school program that serves kids starting from middle school to college. These kids are not your average students; they are scholars who show a sincere determination to excel in school. The program allows for these students to receive academic support, tutoring services, career exploration, assistance with college applications, tuition assistance, and financial support.
We gathered the Treehut Team and headed over to the nearby BHGH after-school program. We got to share our passion for crafting unique wooden watches and were able to meet some of the great students and mentors at BHGH. Once we got to know each other, we passed out the school supplies to the energetic and enthusiastic scholars. It was great seeing how eager they were to get the tools they need to succeed!
It was such an incredible opportunity to give back to our community and support those in need. These young scholars talented individuals we see doing big things, and we loved getting to know them. Being able to provide them with the necessary school supplies they will need for the upcoming semester. We're excited to continue to develop a partnership with this incredible program! We also would love to thank our customers all over the world for their support in us, which allows for us to give back to our community.
