4. Union Square Ice Skating Rink
Enjoy the beautiful view from one of the nearby restaurants then head down to the holiday activities. Lace up some ice skates for a super fun and romantic evening in the heart of San Francisco. You can feel the holiday spirit everywhere from the Macy’s storefront window to massive and brightly lit Christmas tree. Union Square is a must do SF holiday experience and a Treehut favorite!
3. SantaCon
Ok, this one might not be the most intrinsically romantic but if you’re ready for a wild day filled with Santas of all types running around the city (while sipping on eggnog) than this is an experience for you. Get your best Santa costumes (check out the couple's costumes blog) and hop on the BART for San Francisco’s annual Santacon. You’re sure to have stories to tell at the end of the day and something to remember.
2. Conservatory of Flowers
Enjoy a beautiful day in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park! 20% larger than even New York Central Park, there are countless attractions to explore. You could spend a whole week exploring this park and not see everything, but we recommend hopping on a bike checking out some of the scenes and ending at the Conservatory of Flowers. See some beautiful and exotic plants in this romantic setting and spend some of the afternoons enjoy that beautiful California weather on a sunny December afternoon. There are occasionally even night events if you’re there at the right time of year! No better place to spend a day with the one you love (and a perfect setting for gifting your personalized Treehut watch!).
1. Angel Island Campground.
As long as it’s clear night out at Angel Island Campground has hands down the best views of the Bay Area on New Year's Eve. It will take some determination and a warm Jacket, but for the couples who don't mind bundling up, you’re not going to have a more relaxed San Francisco experience than this. Grab your camping gear, a Treehut watch with the Nova Hands and enjoy an experience that not everyone is adventurous to get.
The bottom line, we love our city and want to be able to share it with you. When you come to visit be sure to share some of your photos with us on social media by tagging us @treehutco.
