Whether you want to admit it or not, we've all fantasized about how our future partner will pop the big question. Proposal stories matter. It's that story you will have to tell over and over again throughout life, much like that “what are you studying" question of your twenties, “how did they ask” will be a constant theme at dinner parties the world over. At Treehut.co, we are so happy to be a part of people's memories. Especially one this special. 
For Melissa Dewi, it was a regular Saturday. “Just like our normal Saturday morning activities, we usually have a walk before breakfast but this day was different. It was March 18th, 2017 in Southern Australia. Sam decided to take me for a hike at Anstey hill. (A national park in Australia home to gray kangaroos and koalas... what!)
We were planning on being out there for a while so we decided to packed a breakfast for us to have at the top of the hill. After about 45 minutes we reached the top and set up for a rest a nice breakfast. The views we had, stunning. We enjoyed our toasted sandwiches, had a cup of tea, and some cookies. The cookies were so good one wasn't enough for me. The bag was soon empty. I almost cried haha.
Then to my surprise, he told me that he had something in his pocket, and right away I said to him: Yes! You do have more cookies!
But there were no cookies, instead, I received a Treehutco watch -the exact one I was waiting for! I was so happy. But that wasn't all. Sam turned the watch over and on the back he popped the question with an engraved message–“Will you marry me?” Of course, I said “YES” and am looking forward to marrying the man of my life!”
