BALI–Treehut's Inspiration

After Treehut founders Joh and Julia took a trip to Bali in 2013 they decided to start Treehut. In Bali, there is a certain spontaneity in the adventures of daily life. Everything is rooted in family, community, and nature - exactly the way life should be. Luxury brands aren’t a thing in Bali. Local artisan's simple and effortless designs, the love for their craft, the joy in their traditions, the appreciation for natural materials - This was the seed of inspiration for Treehut. Joh and Julia went home with the plan to bring Bali home in any small way they could. Today, Treehut is using more than 100 different natural materials to create timeless accessory pieces in our San Francisco California studio and shipping them globally.
