You have a beautifully complicated relationship with your mom. There are days when you feel worlds apart. 1. She was once just like you.
You remind her of a girl she used to know, because the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree. This might come as a surprise to you, but your mom is her own worst critic. You changed the whole game for her. From the start, she held the weight of the world on her shoulders, understanding that every choice she made even before your birth would impact you. Remember to give her a break.
