About Us

Tree Hut is a small team of 20 people dedicated to handmaking a variety of watches in our San Francisco studio. We share a love for one-of-a-kind designs, so each watch is naturally unique and handcrafted out of real wood. We’re also a bunch of sentimentalists that engrave inspiring messages on each watch to create a unique, personalized experience. We want to make your heart skip a beat, one engraved watch at a time. Our Tree Hut family has grown from a tiny home basement in San Francisco to now a full team including a manufacturing team, customer service team, and a creative / marketing team. Our newest member is Cha Cha, a 4 pound, 3 year old rescue Yorkie tripod.

Our watch making process starts with a desire to make you smile. First, we individually check the quality of each piece of natural wood prior to cutting. The watch is then hand assembled with great precision and skill before engraving your custom message. The watch is polished and, with white gloves, placed into a Tree Hut watch case before shipping. It’s hard to believe all steps from manufacturing to shipping are done in our tiny San Francisco studio! From the adventurous soul to the everyday commuter, our handmade designs are completely versatile with a dash of personality.
