Cactus doesn’t need herbicides or pesticides and only needs rainwater, saving water and using only natural minerals to grow. Once collected, the mature leaves go through cleaning and then are left to dry under the sun for 3-6 days, an energy-efficient processing technique. Next, proteins and fibers are extracted to make an organic, durable, and strong material. Treehut’s Mission Zebrawood Ochre Cactus watch features an octagonal case with precision zebrawood inlay with patina bronze stainless steel and a sustainable ochre cactus leather strap. The patina lends the watch a unique aged outdoor rustic outlook. The ochre brown sustainable strap made from cactus features a perforated hole pattern that is reinforced with high-quality vegan lining and hand stitching completing the high-performance rustic strap. In addition to the running seconds and the 30-minute chronograph counter at nine and three o’clock, the dial features perfectly finished hour markers and matching bronze hands that are all filled with white Super-LumiNova, to make reading time easy in any condition. The movement used is a Seiko VK64 movement, also known as a hybrid chronograph movement, combining quartz precision and mechanical features like a sweeping seconds hand and instant reset chronograph.
