Creator Myles has a saying, a catchphrase, a motto he lives by "En Route to the rest of my life."
We like that. With time always running, it is an idea that holds, Treehut teamed up with Myles in 2017. He was a young creator, Treehut was a small brand. We teamed up, and the rest is history. We sat down with Myles for a Q&A in what drives him, where he has been and where he is going.
TH: Where are you from?
MC: I grew up in Hood River Oregon. As a kid, I was always outside. You could usually find me at Mt. Hood skiing with my friends.
TH: How did you pick up photography?
MC: It was my passion for skiing and good times that inspired me to pick up a camera and start capturing.
TH: Where are you currently living?
MC: Bali, Indonesia.
TH: What is your idea of a perfect day?
MC: A perfect day would consist of an early start to shoot a fantastic sunrise, a solid breakfast, good friends, and a sunset in a beautiful place.
TH: If you could have any superpower what would it be?
MC: If I had to choose, it would be teleporting.
TH: Is there something that you’ve dreamed of doing for a long time?
MC: Ever since I started capturing photos and videos for work, I wanted to find a way to have it pay for my travels. It's wild to think that I have made it there, and I can t wait to see what's next.
TH: What’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever done for you?
MC: I don't think I can narrow to one single action-people are amazing, and the amount of supportive energy I've received in various places over my entire life has been unreal.
TH: What do you search for in other people?
MC: I always look for people who are stoked. Not necessarily on the same thing as me, but just have something Being around people who have strong passions keep me excited and feeding off that energy keeps me going.
